Wow! What a great post! I’m just getting into Squidoo and had no idea about how Squidoo views your tags. I guess I just tagged because that’s what you do. I didn’t realize that Google picks up the tag pages. This is really useful information that has completely changed how I view Squidoo. Thanks so much.

I've been trying to educate lensmasters into picking good Primary Tags for their lenses - this is the most important tag for a lens, yet more that 50% of lenses have the default choice of the title as the tag, which is no use at all.
