Great info. I was a bit late jumping on the Squidoo band wagon. I never really pushed it. Played around with a few lenses to use as authority real estate. Shame that a could-be could service is just pwned by spammers. Anyway, thanks for the heads up!

Hiya Jennifer,

I was wondering if you have a tool that you use to show you where you can post to get relevant backlinks that are “follow”. I know Market Samurai has it, but was wondering if you have ever come across a free one. The tool you are showing looks great. Slowly we are adding new tools to our tool box each month. Last month we got the Article Submission software that I found listed here on your site. Perhaps this will be the next tool we invest in.

That’s cool – didn’t know Jon Leger had a backlink tool. I’ve used OptiLink (the original backlink software made by Leslie Rohde) and SEO Elite, and looks like that tool does what I normally use those tools for, and for like half the price. Good find!

Great article. I’ve wondered about why Google dropped some of my lenses (how could they?) but then they started showing up again. Not all of them. Some just never seem to ever return after disappearing into the gullet of the mighty Google.

But thanks for the great advice about backlinks. I’ve also found that the best way to get respectable rankings is to actively create backlinks to my lenses and blogs.
