Today I received an email that really got my attention. It was a short email with a very specific question:

“Hi,

I was just wondering if it is possible to make money online in 7 days or less with no list, no website and no money?”

Wow! What a question!

IS it possible to make money online in seven days without a website, without a list…and without any money to invest? When I wrote back, the first thing I asked was, “How much do you need to make online?”.

Apparently, this reader needed to make $350 in 7 days to pay a bill. This is FAR from an uncommon situation. I have to say, if you need money, why not turn to the resource you have right there in your home… your computer?

So, I brainstormed.

How to make a quick $350 online without a website.

If this was me….could I do it? Remember now – no list, no website…and not a dime to put towards the effort.

The problem is, if I promoted Clickbank or Commission Junction products, it could take a month plus to actually GET the money…and I need the money NOW.

How can I make FAST money online without a website, without a list…and without money? That is the real question, right?

Ok, here’s my plan.

My Plan for Fast Money Online

I would go to 7dollaroffers.com. All the products listed on 7dollaroffers.com offer 100% commission paid INSTANTLY into an affiliates Paypal account. When you click on a product listed there, take note of the url to that product and then add:

?e=YourPaypalAddress

to the end of the url. Obviously, ‘YourPaypalAddress’ would be replaced with your Paypal address. =)

To test, enter the url of the product into your browser followed by your affiliate code. Go to that page and click the ‘buy now” button as if you were going to buy the product. When the Paypal screen loads, you should see your Paypal address in the top left corner of the online invoice. That means YOU will be paid for that sale.

I would then get myself to Squidoo. Pages on Squidoo are free to make…so this takes out the need for a website (ie, a ‘landing page’). I would make Squidoo lenses to promote these products. Now, don’t get me wrong, I would work hard to make sure they are good Squidoo lenses full of high-quality information. Since I have no money to spend, I certainly didn’t buy the product and review it, so a dishonest review is definitely out of the question. Hard to recommend something I haven’t read or used (at least that is my opinion on that matter).

Also, hear me clearly, I will NEVER promote spamming the Squidoo community. ADD VALUE, or don’t do it…period.

What I CAN do on my Squidoo lens is talk about the subject matter and then point the reader to the product for ‘more information’. Get me?

I would crank out these Squidoo lenses. I am obviously short on time and simply creating the Squidoo lenses is only the beginning of my attempt to make money online.

I would then go to Associated Content to write articles on my subject matter. If you are US-based, you can get paid for these articles ($3-$10 each), and you can also add the url of your Squidoo lens as a “reference”. The payment for your articles (if approved) will be paid directly into your Paypal account within a week.

Now, I would get out there and promote the fire out of my Squidoo lenses. I’d be Digg’n, and Stumblin’, and tagging, using Only Wire and ALL of that like crazy. Remember, no list to promote to…and no money to buy traffic. I’d have to take advantage of every free traffic source I possible could and the social networks have a tendency to bring more immediate traffic.

I would do this 24/7 since I absolutely HAVE to have this money.

CAN you make $350 in 7 days WITHOUT a website, without a list…and without money?

Yes, I think you can. Is it guaranteed? No, nothing is guaranteed but death and taxes =)

However, if you needed money ASAP and you have a computer – this would be a good way to try and raise your funds.

Apparently, lots and LOTS of ways. I suddenly had this feeling of being over-whelmed with too many options. All I wanted was a loaf of white bread.

I admit that I am a part of a very spoiled generation. I am part of the generation that has had jingles such as “Have it your way” and “Special orders don’t upset us” as our motto.

Driving home I thought about all the marvelous choices we have in our lifetimes. Then it hit me – how many people choose to do nothing when faced with the abundance of options if life?

Ironically, I was reviewing a report by Willie Crawford tonight – How to make $1000 to $2000 in 24 hours – and he has a quote in there that summed up what I was thinking.

…I did not want to give you too many options because generally when a person is given too many choices that leads to making no choice.

Oh, Willie – you are so right! Of course he is – he has “only” been in the internet marketing business for 11+ years ( I feel he might know what he’s talking about).

When you come down the “bread aisle” of internet marketing, it is SO easy to get over-whelmed with all the amazing choices you have to use your computer to earn money. Gurus and the “latest and greatest” ideas come at you left and right – everyone has the best way (and oddly, it is their way) – Unbelievable “secrets” are marketed AT you in big, bold, RED letters…

YIKES! Idea OVER-LOAD!

Pick one idea – any idea – and focus completely on that one option for one week.

Yes, only one week. You can do that!

Start a blog, write a report, make a lens on Squidoo, begin a GPT referral campaign…. just start.

I guarantee that whatever you choose to DO will be the right choice!

The only wrong choice would be to choose to do nothing.

Get Out of the Bread Aisle of Internet Marketing

I have become more and more impressed with Gangstergreed. Just this morning, I finished a few surveys online, reached the payment threshold of $10 or more, can clicked “payout”. Within 30 MINUTES, that money was in my Paypal account!

One common question I received from people who hadn’t used a site like this was:

“I know you advertise unlimited referral levels, but what does that mean? What are referral levels?”

Referral levels can best be described as “generations” of referrals. For example, if you were to refer your friend Tom, who in turn refers his friend Sam, then Tom would be your first level referral, and Sam would be a second level referral. Most of our competitors STOP paying after the second level, so you wouldn’t make any more money after Sam. But lets say Sam refers 5 friends, don’t you think you deserve credit because he wouldn’t be here if not for you referring Tom? We do! Under our system, you’ll be paid a percentage of these 5 friends’ earnings, and a percentage of earnings from anyone that they refer, and so on and so forth!

“Exactly how much do I make for second, third, and subsequent level referrals? How does this compare to other sites?”

I suppose the best way to tackle this question is to first explain how most of our competitors’ referral systems operate. Most sites offer 20% for first level referrals, and 5% for second level, a few sites will give you 1% or so for a third level but even that is rare. I’ll provide some examples to illustrate the benefits of our program:

Example 1 (Using a competitor site:

You are using a competitor site which offers 20% for first level referrals, and 5% for second level.

This site will track the offer earnings generated by people you refer, whereas we track both offer AND referral earnings.

So, if you were to refer 5 members, whom each earn $5.00:

20% of $25.00 = $5.00
You earn a total of $5.00 from these first level members

Now lets say those 5 members each refer 5 new members, who also earn $5.00 each:

5% of $125.00 = $6.25
You earn a total of $6.25 from these second level members.

Grand total earnings: $11.25

Beyond that second level, our competitors pay you NOTHING. Even if those 25 members each refer 5 members for a total of 125 new members, they don’t share any more profits with you. Some people are very talented and innovative and are capable of referring thousands of users. These users are known as “super-referrers” and are excellent to have below you. However, they won’t benefit you one bit on this competitor’s site unless they are in your first level. How unfair is that?

Our system:

GangsterGreed.com awards you 25% of your referrals TOTAL earnings, including both offer and referral earnings. So your commission includes 25% of your first level’s total earnings, which includes 25% of their referral’s total earnings, which includes 25% of THEIR referral’s total earnings, and so on. Therefore, regardless of the number of referral levels, you still earn!

How much do you earn? Some of you math wizards may have already figured it out, but for the rest of us, here’s the breakdown:

For your first level referrals you’ll get:

25%

From their referrals you get:

25% of 25% = 6.25% (second level)

From their referrals you get:

25% of 25% of 25% = 1.56% (third level)

From their referrals you get:

25% of 25% of 25% of 25% = 0.39% (fourth level)

From their referrals you get:

25% of 25% of 25% of 25% of 25% = 0.097% (fifth level)

And so on and so forth.

Now, it may seem like a small amount after 3 or 4 levels, but remember that there may be thousands upon thousands of users below you by these levels. And those little earnings really add up, as shown in this next example!

Example 2 (Using GangsterGreed.com):

If you were to refer the SAME 5 members used in the competitor’s example, whom each earn $5.00:

25% of $25.00 = $6.25
You earn a total of $6.25 from these members.

Now, just like in example 1, lets say those 5 members each refer 5 new members, who also earn $5.00 each:

6.25% of $125.00 = $7.81

But unlike with our competitors, the earnings don’t stop there!

Assuming that each of these second level referrals make 5 new referrals (this gives you a total of 125 third level referrals), whom each earn $5:

1.56% of $625.00 = $9.75

Assuming that everyone makes just $5.00 and refers just 5 people (some refer thousands) you will make the following:

4th level: $12.18

5th level: $15.16

And so on… the earnings can literally go on and on forever!

Now imagine that you get a super-referrer somewhere in your line, and he/she refers thousands! And they, in turn refer thousands! Or maybe you’re a super-referrer yourself? You won’t know unless you try! There is absolutely NO limit to how many people you can refer, nor how much money you can earn. It costs NOTHING, so what have you got to lose?

“How do I get started? Is there any limit to where I can advertise?

To get started, simply log into the site and click the “referral center” button. This will give you your personal referral link which will look something like this: http://www.gangstergreed.com?ref=12

You can advertise on forums and message boards, in chat rooms, on your personal website, your MySpace site, on flyers throughout your school (assuming that they allow it, don’t get into trouble Roll Eyes ), you can put it on your business card, or almost anywhere else you please. The one “no-no” is unsolicited E-mail messages. It’s fine to send e-mail to your friends, but sending it to random people you don’t know is considered spam and can quickly get you in trouble with the law and this site if we receive proof of it. Other than that, feel free to come up with any innovative way you please to advertise your personal referral URL. Perhaps you’ve heard that one before?

I hope I don’t sound like I am mocking anyone that asks that question. I’m not. I have the most respect for anyone who even dares to take a risk on something new…something unknown. And if you read my first post, you already know I have very strong feelings and beliefs about anyone – and EVERYONE – utilizing the internet to change their future.

I came across something today that I think is wonderful – and I want to share it with you. It is a one page website all about making extra money on the internet.

A fellow internet marketer, Gabor Olah, has come up with a powerful list of ways to make $100 in 24 hours online – from scratch – no over-head.

Guess what else? Squidoo is on this list…how about them apples?

Squidoo Lenses

Think of squidoo as a place where you can get a free one page – but it can be a very long one page ? website. When setting up a squidoo lens, you first need to do some research on key words. Trust me this is important.

So think about your squidoo lens and come up with 4 or 5 key word phrases. Pop them in Google and see what competition you’re up against. You can also go to Google’s adword keyword generator, https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal, Use the tab keyword variations, enter your key words and then hit the “get more key words” tab underneath.

Pick out eight to ten key word phrases, these will be your tags. Now go to http://www.squidoo.com and get yourself a lens using your key word phrase as the name of the lens. Set up your bio in your bio module and link to your product or website in that module. Now write a 250 to 500 word essay using your key word phrase at least three times. The essay should be relevant to your product or niche. In the essay link to your product, affiliate product and/or to your website. You might want to use a teaser phrase to encourage people to click on the link.

Add a poll and an amazon module, then add another text module with links to your other products or affiliate products.

Add a google news feed module. Then another text module and finally end with a guestbook.

This may sound complicated but all the modules are clearly explained and it’s really a matter of point and click to populate your lens with interesting products.

You can earn money from your lens through the different modules and their products, such as books from amazon.com, from products that you’re an affiliate for and from your own products.

You can put up a lens for each one of your key word phrases and then link them together.

How’s that for direct and to the point? The whole list is that way. This little reports is free to read. No download, no need to give away your email address. All I ask is that if you like what you read, do Gabor a favor and “digg” his page by using the little icon he already has set at the bottom. He deserves at least that for all that free info he is giving away.

Realistic Ways to Make Money Online – A Must Read

I am a Content Producer for Associated Content. I write articles that are 400-600 words on any given subject and get paid for them. AC is a PR 6 website (at the time of this writing) which also offers me an opportunity for a strong link in to my lenses.

I love Squidoo so it was a very easy topic for me.

Within the content, I give a brief over-view of Squidoo and answer some of the most common questions I receive. For those that are looking for a “how-to” guide for learning Squidoo, I offer direction to all the ones I know of.

So many come into that forum (and most IM forums) asking how they can started making money online. I truly believe that Squidoo is a wonderful opportunity for anyone, regardless of experience level, to get started. My post reflects WHY I feel that way.

Ok, back to this promotion technique.

I wrote this article -The Squidoo Community and You – How to Join the Squidoo Family – and within the resource section, I linked to my lens. I made a whopping $4 + on the article itself, I got a high PR link IN to my lens, and I also accomplished a traffic generation opportunity – all for free.

Is this a “be a millionaire over-night” tip? Uh, no…hardly. However, this is a free way to promote your lens and get more targeted traffic TO your lens, this technique also gives that high PR link in that is SO helpful for lensrank and search engine ranking for my lens. This is a tip that also makes you some money very quickly, and for that little bit of effort on the front-side, I get to benefit from recurring passive income from not only traffic to my lens, but also for page views of the article itself.

I also get recurring income from Squidoo, too. Squidoo is a co-op affiliate opportunity. Each lens gets a share of the revenue Squidoo generates.

Do this a bunch of times, and you’ll have yourself a LOT of little “bread crumb” trails that give YOU the opportunity to earn some extra cash online – or start to make a living off of it.

And it all cost me nothing but some time.
