Squidoo Stuff…

So, as we all “patiently” await this next Squidoo payday, I got to poking around on my lenses. Now, I’ll admit, I’ve been a bit of a slacker on Squidoo lately. I have spent so much time on my niche sites and other projects that I haven’t devoted the time my baby lenses need.

Anyway, I hopped on over to SquidUtils and took a look at my lenses since I know ol’ Google did their big song-and-dance lately.

Holy Smokes! Baby got PR!

Two of my lenses are a PR5 , there are 10 lenses with a PR 4, a TON of of PR 3’s, and a handful of PR 1’s and 2’s.

Some of you may have heard of a woman by the name of Amy Bass. Amy has a blog where she discloses her earnings and her process of making money online as she attempts to support her beautiful family and pay off debt. She is one smart cookie!

I love reading Amy’s blog – especially since I found out just how much she makes from GPT sites… She is like a GPT Goddess! I don’t know how many of you checked out the list of free keyword tools I posted, but you really shoulda. Did you know that one of those free tools allows you to SEE the keywords that other affiliates are using to promote the same products you are? I was absolutely blown away. You seriously need to go play around with this free keyword tool. It is totally different than anything else. Absolutely amazing!

I am a true believer that anyone…. hear that? anyone can make money online – and these survey sites are the best way to get started. You do NOT need special computer knowledge or equipment. It takes no money to make money, and you can work on it when YOU want to.

I have become more and more impressed with Gangstergreed. Just this morning, I finished a few surveys online, reached the payment threshold of $10 or more, can clicked “payout”. Within 30 MINUTES, that money was in my Paypal account!

Whenever I hear someone on a forum ask how to make some extra money online, I want to scream – “JOIN GANGSTERGREED!”

One common question I received from people who hadn’t used a site like this was:

“I know you advertise unlimited referral levels, but what does that mean? What are referral levels?”

Referral levels can best be described as “generations” of referrals. For example, if you were to refer your friend Tom, who in turn refers his friend Sam, then Tom would be your first level referral, and Sam would be a second level referral. I suppose the best way to tackle this question is to first explain how most of our competitors’ referral systems operate. Most sites offer 20% for first level referrals, and 5% for second level, a few sites will give you 1% or so for a third level but even that is rare. I’ll provide some examples to illustrate the benefits of our program:

Example 1 (Using a competitor site:

You are using a competitor site which offers 20% for first level referrals, and 5% for second level.

This site will track the offer earnings generated by people you refer, whereas we track both offer AND referral earnings.

So, if you were to refer 5 members, whom each earn $5.00:

20% of $25.00 = $5.00
You earn a total of $5.00 from these first level members

Now lets say those 5 members each refer 5 new members, who also earn $5.00 each:

5% of $125.00 = $6.25
You earn a total of $6.25 from these second level members.

Grand total earnings: $11.25

Beyond that second level, our competitors pay you NOTHING. Even if those 25 members each refer 5 members for a total of 125 new members, they don’t share any more profits with you. Some people are very talented and innovative and are capable of referring thousands of users. These users are known as “super-referrers” and are excellent to have below you. However, they won’t benefit you one bit on this competitor’s site unless they are in your first level. How unfair is that?

Our system:

GangsterGreed.com awards you 25% of your referrals TOTAL earnings, including both offer and referral earnings. So your commission includes 25% of your first level’s total earnings, which includes 25% of their referral’s total earnings, which includes 25% of THEIR referral’s total earnings, and so on. How much do you earn? Some of you math wizards may have already figured it out, but for the rest of us, here’s the breakdown:

For your first level referrals you’ll get:

25%

From their referrals you get:

25% of 25% = 6.25% (second level)

From their referrals you get:

25% of 25% of 25% = 1.56% (third level)

From their referrals you get:

25% of 25% of 25% of 25% = 0.39% (fourth level)

From their referrals you get:

25% of 25% of 25% of 25% of 25% = 0.097% (fifth level)

And so on and so forth.

Now, it may seem like a small amount after 3 or 4 levels, but remember that there may be thousands upon thousands of users below you by these levels. And those little earnings really add up, as shown in this next example!

Example 2 (Using GangsterGreed.com):

If you were to refer the SAME 5 members used in the competitor’s example, whom each earn $5.00:

25% of $25.00 = $6.25
You earn a total of $6.25 from these members.

Now, just like in example 1, lets say those 5 members each refer 5 new members, who also earn $5.00 each:

6.25% of $125.00 = $7.81

But unlike with our competitors, the earnings don’t stop there!

Assuming that each of these second level referrals make 5 new referrals (this gives you a total of 125 third level referrals), whom each earn $5:

1.56% of $625.00 = $9.75

Assuming that everyone makes just $5.00 and refers just 5 people (some refer thousands) you will make the following:

4th level: $12.18

5th level: $15.16

And so on… the earnings can literally go on and on forever!

Now imagine that you get a super-referrer somewhere in your line, and he/she refers thousands! And they, in turn refer thousands! Or maybe you’re a super-referrer yourself? You won’t know unless you try! There is absolutely NO limit to how many people you can refer, nor how much money you can earn. It costs NOTHING, so what have you got to lose?

“How do I get started? Is there any limit to where I can advertise?

To get started, simply log into the site and click the “referral center” button. This will give you your personal referral link which will look something like this: http://www.gangstergreed.com?ref=12

You can advertise on forums and message boards, in chat rooms, on your personal website, your MySpace site, on flyers throughout your school (assuming that they allow it, don’t get into trouble Roll Eyes ), you can put it on your business card, or almost anywhere else you please. The one “no-no” is unsolicited E-mail messages. It’s fine to send e-mail to your friends, but sending it to random people you don’t know is considered spam and can quickly get you in trouble with the law and this site if we receive proof of it. That is exactly what I am doing for you in these How to start making money online series of posts. We’re starting from scratch..from the git-go…. starting at the top and starting with “HOW” to start making money online.

In part one of How to start making money online, we found a product for you to promote. We got you signed up for cashcrate and gangstergreed. These two legitimate paid online survey sites are the best of the best when it comes to get paid to sites (GPTs). One site offers a larger monthly check, and the other site is “instant gratification”, meaning you can cash out whenever you want as long as you have made $10 or more.

In part two of How to start making money online, we talked about the referral programs… how they worked, the income potential, etc. and helped you learn your product a bit better. These referral programs are truly the “magic” of online paid survey sites.

In part three of How to start making money online, we talked about how to do the surveys that these GPT sites offer. I also set you up with a time table of using one-half of your available time doing surveys, and the other half of your available time referring others to your team.

Now,in part four, we are going to talk about ways to promote your Get Paid To referral links and build a team. You already have your two products. LOTS of things. There are many free ways to get your referral link out there for the world to see (and click!)

Here are some ideas on how to promote your GPT referral links:

Many forums will allow you to have a “signature line” underneath each post. Check the terms of service first, but this is a great way to get your link noticed while you are doing your normal routine.

Be respectful in any forum you join and don’t just jump in blasting your promotion to everyone. Participate within the forum community and contribute.

You can add a signature line to your outgoing emails, too. A simple ” I make money online, Click here to find out how” can go a long way.

A note about email: You may NOT blindly email people to solicit your product. This is called SPAM and it can get you in a lot of trouble

If so, get your links added to your blog.

Squidoo is AWESOME. I am flat-out impressed with this powerful, and FREE, site. Making a lens (a page) on Squidoo is a wonderful way to spread the word about your passions, interests, or business. Squidoo is fairly easy to learn, and if you take the time to research, you can find out all you need for free. If you want to decrease your learning curve and save valuable time, try: Squidoo Profit Sytem

Don’t know what Squidoo is? Go here: What is Squidoo. That page you see there is a Squidoo Lens (page) and you can make as many of them as you want! It’s not too hard at all, and with the right direction, you can be making these pages like crazy! And here’s a “fun fact” – Squidoo PAYS you to do it! Yes, Squidoo shares its advertising revenue with its “lensmasters”. Its not thousands of dollars, but it’s a nice bit of extra money coming in each month!

My recommendation is to use ALL of these four things above. Get you referral link in your email signature and your forum signatures. Set up a blog and a Squidoo lens and talk about Cashcrate and Gangstergreed with your referral links.

If you take advantage of all four of these free promotional opportunities, not only will you be well on your way to doing well with these GPT sites, but you will also know how to promote any product for free — and make money online.

How to start making money online – Part 4

Today I am going to talk about completing offers to help your direct earnings, and then a next post that will talk about building your referrals and increasing your indirect earnings.

I hope you have already taken the initiative and took the first step to sign up for:

CashCrate

and

GangsterGreed

I picked these two specific GPT sites after looking at MANY due to a few factors:

1 – Using these two Get Paid To sites together will give you the opportunity to have one larger check coming each month, and the other site offers the opportunity to get cash straight to your Paypal account whenever you want it (and you’ve earned $10 or more). In a nutshell, one site is a type of “forced savings”, and the other is “instant gratification”. They suit both my needs..haha!

2 – These two GPT programs both have excellent customer support and are user friendly

3 – These two GPT programs have the best referral programs offering the opportunity for more income and the chance to earn money when YOU are not actively doing work on these sites. I talked about the referral programs and earnings examples here.

In this post I want to talk about completing your offers. How it works and some Get Paid To tips and advice.

Completing Cash Offers

Cash offers are the heart of CashCrate. Follow the steps below to start making money.

1. Click on “Complete Offers” in the Member’s navigation bar.
2. Click on the “Cash Offers” tab in the offers box.
3. Decide which offers you want to show and how you want to sort them. To start off with, we recommend you show the ‘100% Free’ offers and sort by ‘Rating’. These offers are completely free to complete and the easiest offers come up on the top of the stack. Now click ‘Go!’.
4. Choose an offer from the table that appears. Note the description (which tells you how to complete the offer), then click on the offer name.
5. The offer will open in a new window. Complete the offer using truthful information. After you’re finished, closed the window.
6. You’re done! The only thing left to do is submit the offer to us so we can credit you. Go back to the offer table and click the ‘Submit’ button to the right of the offer you just completed. The offer will be added to your Pending list and removed from the offers table.
7. Once we confirm the offer (usually within a couple hours), the money will be moved to your monthly earnings and the offer will be put in your Completed offers table.
8. Rinse and Repeat!

Yes, that’s all there is to it on any GPT site.

I want to draw attention to #4. Make sure to read exactly what it is you need to do when completing an offer. This is found right next to the offer itself. If the offer says “enter zip code and click submit”, then that is ALL you need to do – even if the survey goes further.

GPT Advice:

Completing offers can cause a LOT of email to be sent to you. Instead get a free email account with gmail. Make sure you check this email because there are some offers that you will have to verify your email before you can get credit.

As with anything, always read the fine print. I have found that while these cell phone numbers pay well, many will also start a monthly charge to your cell phone bill. Yes, you can cancel it quite easily – just read and be sure of what you’re doing.

The free offers are plenty enough to make good money each month. Only do the trial or paid offers if it is something you are genuinely interested in. Remember what I said – “Don’t PAY money to MAKE money”

Many of these offers and surveys can be completed very quickly. I have noticed that the ones I “breeze” through don’t credit as well at times. Since I have left the window open on a completed offer for a bit longer than my usual “enter, enter, click, click, close”, I have noticed a higher credit rate for my completed offers.

Not a bad idea at all to clean your browser cache and cookies out after a session of completing offers. I have read that this helps offers credit – however, I have also read that it makes no difference. Either way, it is still better for your computer to clean out that stuff now and then.

Some surveys present you with a bunch of “custom offers just for you. Look around the page – If there is a “No, thank you” or a “Skip this Page” option – USE IT.

Both sites have great forums – use them. There is a ton of info and useful advice in there to help your business take off.

This is easy “work” – something great to do while watching TV or when you get a few minutes of free time. The best way to work all this is to spend half of your available time doing offers, and the other half of your available time referring others to your business.

These are two “get paid to” sites that pay anyone to complete small surveys, enter their email address, or enter their zip code. These Get Paid To sites (GPTs) are free. Always remember that when it comes to GPT sites, you should never have to pay money to make money.

These sites are very easy to use. I imagine you’ve had a chance to look around these GPT sites after you registered. Maybe you already started taking surveys – GREAT!

Now I want to share with you the “magic” of these GPT sites that will really get you rocking and starting to make money online.

If you could work 10 hours a day on these sites, you’d probably make a good bit of money, don’t you think?

BUT…

What if you had 10 people AND yourself only working TWO hours a day? Thats 11 people at two hours each meaning that is 22 hours a day of effort on these GPT sites.

Thats a lot better than your ten hours by yourself, isn’t it? It is certainly much less work for you.

These GPT – Get Paid To – sites offer what is called a referral program.

What these referral programs do is give you MORE opportunities for money.

Ways you can make money online through a GPT referral program:

1 – You get paid for your direct effort working on the GPT site.

2 – You get paid a percentage for the efforts of those that you refer (tell about).

3 – You get paid a percentage of the efforts of your referrals referrals. (got that?)

Now then, let’s do some math.

If you start a GPT referral team and you only get 10 people to sign up under you. You, and each of your referrals, earn $50 that month on Cashcrate. That’s not much, but I want to keep it on the low side.

According to Cashcrates referral program, you make 20% of what your first level referrals (the ones that signed up directly through your link)

Ok, in this example, You made $50.

You have 10 referrals who each made $50 = $500
You would make 20% of that = $100

Your $50 now turned into $150

Not bad, huh?

Now wait a minute…what if each of your referrals referred 10 people each?

you would make $50 for you
you would make $100 for your direct referrals

And if your 10 referrals referred 10 people each who all made $50 a piece, that is $5000 and you get 10% of THAT revenue which equals $500.

NOW let’s see what you make:

$50 for you
$100 for your 10 referrals
$500 for your referrals referrals =

$650

You will get a check for $650 all because you spent a very minimal amount of time completing surveys and you referred 10 other people to do the same. I have to say that only making $50 a month is EASY.
