PotPieGirl LOVES the Traffic Player!
When it comes to easily embedding stunning videos on your web pages, NOTHING beats the simplicity of The Traffic Player plugin. You can quickly put YouTube videos or your own videos on your affiliate pages, squeeze pages, sales pages, etc and it will look like you paid a programmer tons of money to write the code for you so it would not only look amazing, but look 110% professional.
It took me all of about 5 minutes to install the Traffic Player plugin, activate it, write this post, choose a few videos, enter a few quick details into the TP plugin widget, and publish.
Presto – DONE!
And it looks good, don’t you think?
Reviewing the Traffic Player Video Plugin
Here is how the Traffic Player plugin works. You don’t need to take notes, it’s drop-dead simple.
Even *I* could figure it out! lol!
So let’s take it for a test spin…
Watch The Traffic Player in Action
[trafficplayer_skin padding: 25px 0 0 66px; margin: 0 auto; width: 561px; height: 526px; background: url(https://www.potpiegirl.com/wp-content/uploads/skin5_500x314.png) no-repeat top left; text-align: left;][trafficplayer_youtube_video width=”500″ height=”314″ src=”http://www.youtube.com/embed/ZdhfFM0ncNw?&autohide=0&autoplay=0&controls=0&hd=1&rel=0&showinfo=0″ ][/trafficplayer_youtube_video][/trafficplayer_skin]
As you’ve probably guessed – that is not MY YouTube video (because no, I have not changed into a man with a British sounding accent….lol).
All I did was grab a YouTube video I wanted to use, popped the video id into the TP plug in widget, picked what “skin” I wanted and a few other options – and PRESTO, one really cool looking video on my site that looks good AND you can barely tell it’s a YouTube video.
Nice, huh?
I really think so – I LOVE this plugin!
Let’s see it again in action –
[trafficplayer_skin padding: 41px 0 0 41px; margin: 0 auto; width: 441px; height: 545px; background: url(https://www.potpiegirl.com/wp-content/uploads/skin10_400x330.png) no-repeat top left; text-align: left;][trafficplayer_youtube_video width=”400″ height=”330″ src=”http://www.youtube.com/embed/cXXm696UbKY?&autohide=0&autoplay=0&controls=0&hd=1&rel=0&showinfo=0″ ][/trafficplayer_youtube_video][/trafficplayer_skin]
Sidenote to my readers: you should always have moments when you laugh so hard you fall down. Life is short – enjoy the little things =)
Ok – One more video for fun. This is so easy to do!
another sidenote to my readers: I didn’t exactly pick this next video randomly or by accident. Perhaps there is a hidden message that just might apply to someone watching? Just sayin’…..
[trafficplayer_skin padding: 39px 0 0 62px; margin: 0 auto; width: 600px; height: 356px; background: url(https://www.potpiegirl.com/wp-content/uploads/skin7_500x314.png) no-repeat top left; text-align: left;][trafficplayer_youtube_video width=”500″ height=”314″ src=”http://www.youtube.com/embed/qjIsdbBsE8g?&autohide=0&autoplay=0&controls=0&hd=1&rel=0&showinfo=0″ ][/trafficplayer_youtube_video][/trafficplayer_skin]
That took a whole 45 seconds to set up – awesome!
How Does The Traffic Player Work?
This is an EASY plugin to set up and use. Ready for the steps?
2. Upload the zip file into your ‘add new plugins’ area of your wp-admin and then activate it.
3. Click the Traffic Player menu on the left side of your wp-admin
4. Register your copy of the plugin by adding your email and stuff.
5. Make a new post or page. When you want to add a cool video, just pick a YouTube video, grab the video id or url, go back to your post, click the littl orange TP icon you will see, and fill in the details and your skin choices.
EASY PEASY – a couple clicks and your videos on your site will look AWESOME!
Important note: If you have any issues with the plugin working, make sure your WordPress is up to date with the newest version.
There are two versions of this plugin available. One is for just YouTube videos and the other is for YouTube videos AND your own self-hosted videos. I got the one for both my own videos and YouTube videos because I do both so I wanted the flexibility. Plus, if someone offers me something awesome, I want everything they have!
As you can see, this is an EXCELLENT wordpress plugin that can come in very handy.
In this Traffic Player review, I give this product THREE thumbs up!
Just playing with this plugin has got my wheels turning with ideas on how to use it. Yes, naturally it would work awesome for squeeze pages for my own products, but think about this…
You’re promoting a product as an affiliate. You find a good related video or review video of that product on YouTube, use Traffic Player to put it on your WordPress page or post so it looks impressive, give the reader some written content, invite them to join your list or even perhaps….click your affiliate link.
How EASY would it be to crank out good-looking and effective affiliate review web pages like that?
Heck, I can think of ways to make it work really well with AdSense sites, too. People love videos – especially when they look attractive at first glance. That can really, really help your ‘time on site’ stats…and perhaps your bounce rate too.
And when it comes to using your OWN videos… wow, the ‘pros’ of this Traffic Player plugin are endless.
– No need to host your own videos so they look professional – just let YouTube host it and they can foot the bill.
– You can easily embed your self-hosted videos.
– You can really UP the views on your YouTube videos – which can help a ton
and on and on and on.
Total no-brainer in my book =)
What ideas YOU see after you’ve watched the Traffic Player plugin in action?
Share with me in the comments area…and feel free to ask any questions, too.
Oh…and one last thing….
super secret: There is a way when you visit this page to get a demo version of this plugin totally for free so you can try it out. It only comes with one “skin”, but will let you see how easy TP is to use…and how great it makes your videos look.
Thanks again! Isn’t it amazing how those little gadgets have almost the same effect on us as candy does to a toddler.lol
Makes us all giddy with excitement. =)
And we can’t WAIT to go use it or try it out… thanks for sharing this with all of us.
Wow, this really is a very cool little plugin – the end result looks fantastic.
Thanks for highlighting and sharing ma’am.
Just when I think you can not possibly out do yourself with the awesome value you give…. you amaze me again. Thank you for allowing me to be in your circle of influence.
I have this plugin and I love it too. I make a lot of review sites and this plugin lets me get useful videos on my pages that look really good and my site visitors enjoy and get help from. Good share today. thanx
I like adding images to all of my blog posts and I frequently use videos. A video that looks like a picture at a first glance – that seems like a double benefit to me! Thank you for sharing… 🙂
Thanks for sharing this cool plug in. It’s great to be instep with the highly technical (even when you aren’t a techie).
Best wishes!
Thanks so much for sharing this, Jennifer. I have almost pulled my hair out in the past when I tried to embed videos on my blog. This looks absolutely wonderful! I’m looking forward to trying it out.
Caveat Emptor. Have lots of videos running and dare to ask Dulisse a support question or suggest a problem with the plugin and this very unstable individual will flip the “off’ switch he always has and wipe you right out.
I have been victimized by this thief. Don’t give him the opportunity.
Hi Jennifer, thanks so much for sharing this!! It is truly amazing!! This looks like something even I can do!! You always deliver information that really helps make our IM lives easier. Thanks for all you do!! : )
Thanks everyone – glad you liked it. I’ve been having a ball playing with this plugin – makes me feel like a programmer or something cool like that…lol!
@Michael – Actually, I DID have to contact the creator of this plugin – and his personal support was very good and helped me work my way thru a “blond moment”.
I’m sorry to hear you had a bad experience, but only thought it fair to mention that I had a good one.
Thanks for stopping by!
Jennifer

Hi Jennifer,
Thanks for the review, I do have this plugin but yet used it to it’s full potential. I am on Mark’s list so luckily got a free version before the launch.
But I use Easy Video Player which does have way more options and of course at a more expensive rate, but using Marks pluginn the vids are a lot quicker to set up some of the skins are really cool.
Thanks
Craig
Isn’t not showing the YouTube / author attributes, links, etc. against the rules?
Great to see another posting to the PotPieGirl blog…I was getting worried that I wouldn’t see another posting.
Thanks for this posting. I just downloaded the free version to see how visitors to some of my websites react to this new video tool. It looks awesome! If my visitors like it, I’ll upgrade to the paid version. Or, when I start making my own videos I’ll be upgrading.
Thanks!
I think this has been blown out of proportion by the great thing cllead 24hour rolling news, they’ll create controversy out of a chicken crossing a road if they could.65 feet away is fare enough, it would get in the way if a few hundred photograhaphers all descended onto heavily affected beach so they could get the prize shot’ of the whole story and thus win loads of journalism and photography awards.
wow. thanks for your good sharing jeniffer. this is that ? have been looking for along time.beacuse all the affiliate products are presented with tihs way recently
hi jennifer.
cool video, but i rather asking about your one week marketing method. Is it still relevant with the marketing situation today?
thanks.adhy
Thanks for sharing my British accent!
Thanks for your assistance in this matter
i look for the product called bring the fresh. think ? saw on your web page.but now ? couldnt find it
This software is overpriced at $87.00 – there are other WP plugins that do the same job for free: JW player & SublimeVideo player – to name just a few.
But the worst of it is – support is non-existent.
After purchasing this software (mainly because of the good rap on this site) I got a fatal error that crashed our site.
Submitted a support ticket, and Marl Dulisse himself replied; assuring me that the software is stable and ‘DOES NOT cause fatal crashes’. He asked for access details to my website which were duly given (a duplicate test website displaying the same activation error – with all other plugins deactivated).
Got a reply several days later that an update was available – and I should update. The update was not showing in WP admin, so I downloaded from the link supplied.
Same deal – fatal error on activation. Once again, had to rename the plugin through FTP to get my blog back up.
Replied to the original support ticket that the update has not fixed my problem.
Got a reply a day later: “you need to go to help desk with this. Thanks”
Submitted another support ticket – the result: STONEY SILENCE
Do not buy this badly supported, overpriced software.
We are currently using over 40 other WP plugins, some paid for – most free. I have NEVER encountered such appalling support for any paid software – in the 6+ year we have been running our online business!
Lucky I paid for this with PayPal – will definitely be submitting a refund request!
