I joined Killer Content – haven’t been able to figure our how to get my chosen articles to link up to my wordpress free blog- the videos are confusing. The program is awesome and when I figure it out – WOW !!

Anyway, I need help with what to type in what place and where to go to get my kc articles to publish.

I am rather new at this and a few months ago I never even thought about what “content” was. I just Google for something when I needed an answer or was looking to buy something. Content really is important. Good content is even better!!!

First of, I bought your OWM a couple of years back, through WA. I still have your training course and did try to implement it at Suidoo. My problem was back then (about 3 years ago) that I wanted more control of my content/web-present so I started my own website(s).
After a while I gave up, actually after having spend more than $2K which is to me a lot of money, lol
Now I am back online and more determined than ever to make this work.
I am not a good writer, but also not afraid of putting what I write on my website, as I am sure I will get better as time goes by (hopefully).
My problem is as it was before, I am trying to do too many things at once and easily get sidetracked.
Even though I keep telling myself to only follow one ‘guru’ at the time, I always end up following/signing up for a bunch of newsletters or programs. Many of which I don’t have the time to read, but who I would like to be associated with, lol If that makes sense…
My point is that I can’t afford to hire any one, and also can’t entice any of my friends or family to write content on a subject they get to choose. But writing is for me the easier part, getting the word out is harder for me…
Any way I have always admired you and knew from the get go that you did something right! Now I just need to get on with it and get going again.

This is a great article and it shows your great skill at writing articles which many of us don’t possess.

I remember somewhere you mentioned you don’t like hype. That Killer Content guy is nothing but hype. I really don’t care where he goes on vacation and what kind of luxury car he has. He almost put me to sleep. I had to hit the back button on that one.

The Ultra Spinnable Articles sounds promising. Aren’t those the ones you used to build the 8 sites with?

I’ve had some success getting WordPress sites ranked in Google. I’ve done three test sites with some relatively easy keywords and debuted on page one with two of them with no backlinks, so I know this stuff works.

I was thinking maybe starting with the Ultra Spinnable Minis since I’m not in the big leagues with you, yet. Although, if you search for “make $200 a day online” in Google without the quotes, you’re #2 and I’m #3. The thing is you’re really doing it and I’m just a wannabe. 🙂

It’s true that PLR articles are great but as mentioned above that everyone one has a chance to use them in their own way and making it unique to Google is the tricky part. Google makes notice of repeated information and could over saturate the search engine with repetitious information.

I agree on that equation, links plus good content will definitely make your keywords rank higher on search engines especially on Google it really like unique contents.

PLR content is still useful because it helps you to save time. You don’t have to write an article from scratch. But the downside of PLR content is that everyone and their moms are using it.

If you want your PLR articles to rank, you will have to spend time editing to make them UNIQUE (I would say at least 80% unique). Just changing the title and few words will not get you far. Google is not stupid, they know what is PLR article.

This is my first time posting, but I’ve been following you for some time now. Out of all the folks out there, I think the material you put out is the best! Thanks for sharing your tips!

I purchased your OWM plan over a year ago, tried it out for several month, reading and re-reading, following steps, writing articles, (which I agree is extremely painful, especially when you know little about the topic or you run out of words to say for a topic you already know about), setting up niche sites, etc

After much frustration time and A LOT of money spent on this and that… I got No where!

I really believe this plan will work, but I know I need to focus (part of my frustration of stopping was being pulled in MANY directions – I try to learn everything at one time – and the constant annoyance of being sold something that just was not working..

My question is, with all the changes in Google and with Squidoo that has occurred since your plan was written, are the steps in your OWM still valid? Do you have any ammendments, I really want to go at this again, but do it correctly this time… I need to prove to my husband, I’m not crazy, that people are making money online and I’m not wasting my time and money:).

Where do I start, what can I do? I know I need to start from scratch…. just need a little guidance here…

Just so you know, I was a memember of Wealthy Affiliate, the keyword search was awesome, but that site was really overwhelming… just to much information that my brain was just not ready for…

You asked a really great question that I’d like to address, but before I do I want to say something.

I’ve been a member of WA for years…and I know Jay very well. He is a VERY smart cookie. I just want to mention that and be clear that anything I say next is not intended to discredit him or anything of that nature, ok?

OK, that said –

If it was completely true that only unique/high-quality content will rank now Post-Panda, why is that with my test sites, SIX of them rank for ONE keyword? They currently rank #9, #11, #17, #21, #32, and #37 for that one keyword phrase.

This is a keyword that ONE of my sites is targeting, but I was sure to get it in the content on each of those sites that are all using a spun version of ONE article.

Also important to note – I did NOT build back links to 5 of these sites with this one phrase as the anchor text (one I did – it was the site that was created to target that specific phrase).

And to top it all off, other people are using spun versions of the same article, too.

Draw your own conclusions from what I said, but my very best advice is this – –

When in doubt, or when you’re just curious – TEST IT YOURSELF.

Yes, unique/high-quality content will do very well IF it has back links, and viral/sharing links, etc etc. But I have watched too many marketers – especially those that are new – spend a TON of time writing that “one perfect article” – and then finding out that they can’t rank for their phrase…or the niche doesn’t make them money.
