I’m considering taking the free trial of SENuke to launch my very first affiliate attempt. Yes, I’m still in the extreme newbie stage of reading, reading, and more reading. I currently don’t have ANY money to purchase OWM or join WA, which will be first on my list once I have the wherewithal. I want to take your advice to create a blog, write some articles, etc that you advised with your blog about what you would do with no list, no website, and no money and link it to a good affiliate product. Well, I’ve found the product and am ready to start writing, but my question to you is- Once I have my articles and blog set up, should I use SENuke to launch it out? Do you still recommend it or is it “blackhat” tactics. I will not be linking to any site I actually own, still, if it’s unethical, I would probably not use it. Thank you for any suggestions or advice you can provide on this!

Usually the first place one goes for suggestions, very clever. We find that combining Google’s kwd tools with a few other services tends to do the trick most times. Sometimes though, you’ve got to break out a few less known ones to dig deeper or extend list you’ve already been building on. We have found success using Trends, Keycompete, Wordze and a tool we’ve developed for use in-house. Seems to be a good mix for us.

Thought readers here may be interest in trying our in-house tool. We offer it in basic form for free on our company website. Check it out if you want and be sure to send us any feedback or suggestions for improvement. It’s basic, but quick, easy and covers a wide range of term suggestions.

One thing before I pick a keyword is to think if that keyword will potentially drive leads for a specific niche. Here’s what I do… for example I’m promoting a “Quit Smoking” ebook.. the most relevant keywords would be.. “Quit smoking”, “How To Quit Smoking”, “Quit Smoking Tips” “Quit Smoking Books” “Quit Smoking Help” and so on..

People that will type such keyword are definitely desperate to Quit Smoking.. 🙂

It works…

However tools are important as well.

Yes, I like the spinner part – especially where I can spin the titles and descriptions of book marks to make them each unique. The main reason I don’t use a mass-submit type article software (ie, same exact article to thousands of sites) is because I want at LEAST a unique title for my content.

As for Duplicate Content – the only real “penalty” to it is when the exact same content is found within the SAME WEBSITE.

There is SO much mis-information about Duplicate Content, isn’t there? If you send the same exact article out to hundreds of web sites, there is no “penalty”. Yes, most of those will get filtered by Google (put in the omitted results of a search), but there is no “penalty”.

I have submitted many of my articles to multiple article directories and have had them all rank for a time (I didn’t build backlinks to all of them.

What is your opinion on the so called duplicate content penalty?
