They have a great idea, but their site is so buggy. I’ve written things on my wall that have just disappeared, friend request links don’t work so I can’t approve them. Twitter import not working, I add content then it disappears. Arg!

It looks like you’re doing well PotPieGirl – good on ya! But I’m wondering how they are going to pay people. I haven’t found anywhere to put my paypal address or anything about sending out checks (that would be painful as a way to get paid anyway). And I haven’t found any info in their documentation about how they are going to do that either.

So… my big question is, do they really pay? Can you confirm that Jennifer? Or anybody? I’m not trying to be nasty, but I feel like I’m wasting a lot of time on RedGage due to all the bugs and bad interaction design and if there really is no reward in the end… well, I’d like to avoid that scenario.

They do ask your birth date, though, which is a dangerous piece of information to give out (identity theft). I assume they just want to know your birth year to get an idea of which age group uses their site the most. I gave a birth date with a different day, month, and year, but the year is withing one year of my real date so I don’t mess up their statistics.

At first glance of your screen shot, it would appear that your big jump in earnings are based upon the fact that your documents received 5 stars.

I could be way off, but quality of work, popularity of topics and visitor scoring initially seem to be a significant contirbutor to earnings.

If a ten star score were possible, I’m sure you would have gotten that too:))

It’s great to see a company get creative in ways to monetarily reward contributions while making all earnings transparent.

This feature alone will definitely shake things up quite a bit in the online media advertising landscape.
