i agree with Elisa, the Lens can just vanish overnight. Although we do a lot of hard work in making them but they endup in the so called “red zone”.

the filters keep changing, and we will follow them blindly to chasing the right people. When will we get a stable SEO policy from Google / Bing Yahoo.

If you haven’t got an Amazon module in the top 5 and they ask you for it (all OWMs should have it anyway) that might be enough.

Duplicate content might be innocent. I had a list of nine items so for instance if you wrote a list of nine dog breeds that might be the cause.

Another one was simple the credit to a photographer.

Some as PPG says is just pure length, while another one I have plenty of length as cannot tell so have gone in for green lighting (only do as a last resort) as I fear it may be the subject being seemly commercial on this but that is just an assumption.

I have another which is a coloring page, which apparently is a squid don’t that I have lots of affiliate (about 9 form one area) links to, virtually no words, I wrote a few sentences and did what PPG said and it published! Go figure. Now if they have finished the non giant sweep I have a lot of lenses that are really commercial and touch wood they have not been flagged. Interesting to see what happens to my giants lenses.

Surely there is someone out there that can combat Google who it seems is aiming to destroy all affiliates?

UPDATE: If you’ve update your Lens and republished it without any problems and STILL have that yellow exclamation mark, here’s how to get rid of it per Jenn’s email (thanks to Michelle):

1. Go to your dashboard
2. Click the yellow icon
3. Click “fix this lens”
4. Click to publish

A lens is not “fixed” until the yellow symbol is gone.

This is the very reason why we must NEVER EVER depend on free sites for a chunk of our income. It’s a must to learn how to make money off-line, with your own product, with your own website, or whatever way you choose.

Do NOT depend on free sites that can cut your income overnight (with one policy change).

I found one yellow “heads-up” warning but the darn thing won’t go away even after adding more content. Do you know how often Lens get scanned? … and if they’ll update the “what to do” suggestions? From what they suggested, 50 things could be wrong with my lens!!!! (not “yelling” at you, just venting my mini frustration at getting rid of that yellow warning circle)

Hey Paula =) It could mean that or it could mean that they’ve received a heads up from Google or via their AdSense Rep… no exact telling and the public traffic stats aren’t really showing the whole picture.
