HI I'm new to internet marketing. Set up my first wordpress website which has gone a little mad, sprouted out in all directions with amazing content (even if i say so myself), autoresponder email campaign, the lot. It's taken me a full 6 months and has generated next to no income what so ever. Now just realising that it's small niche 4 page sitelets advertising products and building lists that seem to count. Can anybody help me on mini site software for wordpress? Can I host loads of minisites on one primary domain or will that just thoroughly confuse google? Looking forward to your replies.

Thanks for this great post.
It's true, when starting out in IM the first hurdle is the first dollar you make online. Once you make that one dollar, you know you can do it and then you can make that one dollar to two dollars and two to four etc etc. The main thing is exactly what your post said- you have the confidence that it is possible and all you have to do is scale it up.
Have an awesome day.

Great post Andrew. Thanks for having him guest blog Jennifer.

I would add that in addition to getting your first sale or first successful site, is not allowing yourself to be scared that you CAN'T do it again. So many people have such a huge fear of failure that they try and talk themselves out of continuing even after they have some success.

Thanks PPG, I have been following Andrew since he launched firepow, in fact Elysia helped set up one of my very first sites. That was over 3yrs ago and I'm afraid I fell victim to opp hopping. Sometimes I shutter when I think where I might be had I only followed his advice and yours as well and done exactly what Andrew has shared here. So I have UA and I joined WA a couple of months ago. For the first time I am taking it a step at a time and I have actually learned many great things recently by trying something and it not working, but instead of giving up I continued until I exhausted all my limited knowledge about whatever the problem d'jour might be until I have no choice but to seek help in the community. In fact I just read a forum post that you wrote this morning in the WA forum about your tattoo experience imparting your wisdom upon a young man about to give up on his site. I hope your advice helped him as much as it did me and I'm not even in the tatto niche.
So thank you and Andrew for all your help to all us up and comers.
Take Care.
