It's Crazy Out There... PLEASE Be Careful Who You Learn From
Oh Really? Check Out This Video!
If you’ve been trying to learn internet marketing for any amount of time, you have surely experienced the feeling that “everyone” has already done “everything” and there is no room for you. Ever feel that way? I know I sure did at one time! That feeling that all the good stuff was gone and over-done – that the hot time for internet marketing was over….and I missed it! Oh boy, was I wrong! When I read some stats about the internet, it absolutely boggles my mind and gets me all fired-up about this awesome industry I am working in now. Folks, this is only the beginning! Take a watch of this video and see if it doesn’t boggle YOUR mind…and get YOU all fired-up, too!
Did You Know?
First off, it’s great to be back! PotPieDude and I just came back from a WONDERFUL beach/golf vacation this last week with two dear friends of ours. It was quite a surprise to me to get there and find that I had VERY limited access to the internet (and quite a shock to my system, too!) – but the time off was good for me.
PotPieDude and I talk often about the massive potential of the internet and internet marketing. It truly amazes both of us. What is even more amazing is how new all this really is. There is so much room inside the internet marketing industry for tons of folks offering the ability to make a real change in their lives.
I know it’s hard to NOT feel like “it’s all been done before” when you are absorbed by other marketers all day long.
But it HASN’T all been done before.
There are markets out there that are still virtually un-tapped… and markets coming that we haven’t even thought about.
When the hubby and I were talking about that, he told me that he had seen an awesome video that shows internet stats that would blow my mind….BUT, he couldn’t find it online.
When we got home I head a loud, “I got it!” from the other room and he came rushing in my office with his laptop in hand.
And boy oh boy, am I ever glad he found this video!
Please take a few minutes and watch this video. It is mind-boggling. I’ve already watched it 5 times just to let the sheer magnitude of it sink it.

Throughout my life I have heard it said time and time again…”the market is saturated”. I did not believe it then and I surely do not believe it now that I watched this video. Jennifer is so correct in teaching us to find our niche. Thanks for sharing!
August 25th, 2009 at 11:20 amThis is a great video! So true!!!!!!!!! Great find PPD! Thanks for posting it PPG!
August 25th, 2009 at 11:54 amGreat video. What’s even more boggling is that the video itself is becoming outdated by the minute. I started homeschooling my kids when I realized that it was more important to teach them how to keep up with changes and technology, and where to get information, than to learn from even the newest textbooks that took one to two years to produce. Not for everyone, but a good solution for us.
August 25th, 2009 at 3:31 pm“But it HASN’T all been done before.
There are markets out there that are still virtually un-tapped… and markets coming that we haven’t even thought about.”
Boy is that ever the truth. Thinking about the opportunities makes me dizzy.
August 25th, 2009 at 7:35 pmYep, that certainly gets you thinking. Its actually quite overwhelming when you really stop and think about it. One thing is for sure, I’m gonna catch those waves.
August 26th, 2009 at 12:12 amThis is such a cool video. It makes me so glad that I am alive at this time. There is still so much out there to discover. As IM’s we can help the world discover itself.
August 26th, 2009 at 5:24 amAstonishing. The world’s moving so fast I don’t know how we’re supposed to keep up. No the market has been saturated. Not by a long shot.
August 26th, 2009 at 7:00 amThanks all! Glad you liked it, too.
Mind boggling, isn’t it?!?!
And Val…..
“As IM’s we can help the world discover itself.”
AWESOME!!!! I love it!

I am excited to be a part of this evolution on the point of changing – especially here in the US…
August 27th, 2009 at 1:00 amI am a Recruiter, looking to move into Internet MArketing. I realize the potential here.. even thought of a few doozies myself!
Love your stuff PotPie Girl – you are mine, and a couple of other Mom’s IDOL!
I used to think that IM was waaaay over saturated until I found out that in my small company of 80 employees, I am the only one who have even heard of it.
August 29th, 2009 at 5:21 amWow – great video – mind blowing! No wonder people get overwhelmed with information overload when they first get into this business – I know I did – it made my brain hurt and I know I’ve heard PPG say that too – that her eyes burned and her head hurt trying to absorb it all. But, isn’t it amazing how well humans are able to adapt and learn new things?
August 29th, 2009 at 3:42 pmIM will never be saturated. As long as people are searching for things like “purple and orange striped socks” there’ll always be niches to target.
September 1st, 2009 at 12:45 amThat is definitely something that is very hard to comprehend!
I just hope that the human race will put that immense power to good use.
And now let’s all go to China

September 4th, 2009 at 1:26 pmAwesome video plus it gives me hope. I often feel as though I’m a day late, thinking I missed out not getting in back in the early days of the internet.
Anyway, I’ve been trying to get your OWM plan but every time I use the clickbank secure order form it rejects my payment. Is there another way for me to get it?
Thanks
September 9th, 2009 at 6:10 amThis is a fact video… market saturation is something that is hard to figure out… This video really shed the clouds of doubts over the saturation of market concept. Thanks for posting it.
September 11th, 2009 at 1:21 amlol, personally to me that’s just another excuse to why people are failing
September 28th, 2009 at 3:03 pmPeople, of course internet marketing is NOT satured at all….you need to look out of US to realize that the rest of the planet practically is still ” virgin of IM” (for instance I am from Argentina, a country in South America, and I can assure you that here literally almost no one knows anything about IM…the same thing in Brazil, and so on…
October 8th, 2009 at 7:08 pmI apologize for mistakes by writing in English ( My mother tongue is Spanish…)
Cheers !
If we could only imagine – the opportunites are ENDLESS.
We will NEVER run out of niches, never ever. And even if the niche itself is not new someday, those people will still have new interests and issues.
October 14th, 2009 at 1:14 pmEverything digital is sh!t. Software and hardware rarely work seamlessly. Ask Bill Gates.
I just had to cancel AT&T DSL and LANDLINE phone service because it was so BAD (intermittent) and CHARTER is being installed next week. Why? Because broadband and satellite services only work in “pockets” or certain regions in any given area of the U.S. It’s all a circle-jerk with the public. AT&T gave me a $250.00 credit on my statement – it wasn’t enough for all the trauma involved.
So here’s my “facts” to bring you back down to earth:
Too much of anything is dangerous, especially information.
The mind can only assimilate so much information at any one given time. Unless it’s rap.
Too many figures in this video are skewed probably by the company that puts out any given figure. Google would be the first suspect.
China and Iran internet are censored, and now the FCC will do the same with the U.S. internet. We’re only seeing the beginning.
Anything you market now, the FCC may erase tomorrow with one swipe.
India has a wealth of intelligent people who are very frugal in their spending habits.
Three-fourths of China lives in poverty, and can’t be considered serious buyers.
I’ve been to websites by business owners in China, most have so much broken English I can’t understand what’s being marketed. And making a long-distance call to some unknown providence in China …. I don’t think so.
I don’t believe everything I see, hear, or watch on the internet. Nor should you.
October 31st, 2009 at 6:33 amI just had to come back and watch this propaganda and give ya’ll some more real facts:
Over 15 million Americans are unemployed, most white males. Get ready for the second wave after commercial real estate foreclosures reach full speed.
The dollar is being devalued into virtually no value. Hyperinflation is already beginning.
The video states, “…. using technolgies that heaven’t been invented in order to solve problems we don’t even know are problems yet”. Is this a joke! This sound like political gobbly-gook by some crooked creep in Congress! lol How do you use a technology that hasn’t been invented??????? Stupid.
Here’s another one, “To whom were these questions addressed, B.G.(before Google).” and then continues with texting figures. huh????? Did I miss something here?
There are so many holes in this video, but hey, a slick video, with cool music, tailored for the dumbed-downed, iToy zombies of America.
AFTER THIS VIDEO – I BELIEEEEEEVE I CAN SELL ANY OVERPRICED TRASHY E-PRODUCT TO ANYONE IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!!!!!!
October 31st, 2009 at 7:14 amOh, I just saw that all comments are actually being censored by the owner. I suspect no comments or opinions to the contrary of ALL the other postings are allowed. Feel free to edit my postings, or just cut and paste my facts, figures, and findings, and add cool music – that way anyone will believe in it without questioning what’s being presented.
October 31st, 2009 at 7:27 amPaul does have some good comments that make a lot of sense. On the other hand Chinas economy is improving day by day. India has taken a lot of jobs from the U.S. that have been outsourced. So these 2 countries are not as poor as everyone thinks there middle class is growing day by day which means more opportunity for us as internet marketers.
As far as the U.S is going yeah i definitely agree times are tough, it’s slowly getting better but slowly being the key word. The U.S is resilient we will bounce back we always do!
As far as money being made online don’t be fooled there is still plenty of money to be made by us ambitious affiliate marketers. Sure we might have to work a little harder, to compensate for the bad global economy. But he money is definitely out there we just need to reach out and grab it by not being afraid to work hard for it. Pick niche’s that are gonna be profitable even in a bad economy, and you will succeed. Just don’t be afraid to work for it!
November 2nd, 2009 at 3:48 pmThere is one funny thing — it is sometimes more effective to earn money in the niche which is known as over-saturated. Why? Because many people will give up as soon as they read first forum post saying that their niche is saturated
November 5th, 2009 at 10:42 amHi Jennifer,
I am a member of WA (actually, i am a very green newbie, joined in october 2009) and i must say your contents are oh so refreshing and it seems well researched. The “did you know” video is jawdropping and awe…some!!!!!
As always great stuff!!!

November 5th, 2009 at 9:54 pmI love the video and thanks for posting it. it has good information which covered everything and im glad to go through it.
December 4th, 2009 at 5:58 amI agree that this video made a number of highly questionable assertions. More? high-IQ people in India than the US? Then why is India still a backwards country while the US is the country that gave us the personal computer, nanotechnology and so on? And by 2013 a computer will exceed the “computational capacity” of the human brain? How do you even measure that? The same for the claim that a future supercomputer “will exceed the computational capacity of the brains of the entire human race.” Okaaay.
December 5th, 2009 at 6:23 amThank you for sharing this! Mind boggling indeed. It is a reminder for me that it is never saturated and there will always be an opportunity for those who take action.
Thanks for the share
