I can second that Travis is a stand up guy. I may not know him personally like you do, but a couple of years ago, I communicated with him a bit via email, I have also seen many of his posts in wealth affiliate, and yep, he is what you see is what you get, but you can kind of tell that from his videos.

Over the last year or so I also have started really thanking people both public and privately as well as taking the time to tell people when I think they have done a good job at something, or just about anything postive I can say to people. I used to keep it in, but know I let it out.

it is amazing what impact a few little words can have on people.

p.s thank you for the AWeber post link. Ironically, I just got two of those emails a couple of days ago (prettty much almost exactly the same as your example) and like you I make it a policy of not clicking on the links. I was going to log into my AWeber account today anyway to check for any alerts (because I was still a bit worried). I will still do that, but you have put my mind at rest.

Travis is responsible for me being a WA member the last 3+ years =) When I decided to join, I hunted Travis down to be SURE I had HIS link ( I wanted credit given where credit was due, ya know?)

I also was the same way when first learning – SOOOOO much to learn and do. But I went to bed with my mind boggled and couldn’t wait to get up and do it all again. OWM is pretty much me showing how *I* made sense of all this and got it to work for me.

Yes, I’ve been proud to share some big moments with you – it’s been a great journey so far.

I think you and I – as well as many others – are good examples of how “real”, down-to-Earth (and slighty odd) people can do really well online. There is no secret other than to be yourself, share, and help solve problems.
