What a crazy week it’s been for me. Between FINALLY finishing my Professional Internet Marketer certification, getting my company website somewhere closer to ready, working on projects for my clients, being Mom the Taxi Driver, doing laundry, and handling life in general, I feel like I’ve been running in circles! Ok, I lied… laundry didn’t come into play…it is still waiting for my attention =)

However, in all my ‘circle running’, I have come across some really cool and wonderful things I would like to share with you.

thank-you-textThank You’s Come First

First off, I want to extend some thank you’s to some wonderful people out there in the www. Tonight, I found such a sweet an touching post on Margaret’s blog. Margaret is a fantastic lensmaster on Squidoo (among many other accomplishments) and runs a Squidoo Companion Blog that is full of great tips. Today, she had a post about someone she thought was worth mentioning….. ME! A big thank you to Margaret for her kind words about little ol’ me!

There are more thank you’s I want to send out, so hang in there with me!

In my stats, I saw some traffic coming from a site I didn’t recognize. Funny how stats bring you to new places, new faces, and good fun! I found this post in the Powerful Intentions forum and was extremely flattered by it! THANK YOU! I see my buddy, Jackie Lee, gets around (haha), perhaps I should hire her as my PR person! She certainly is good at it!

Also, a shout out to Pat In KC. Pat…two things….

One – somehow…someway…we WILL get that lens of yours indexed!

Two – I was trying SO hard to remember a quote that had touched me once upon a time. Naturally, I never bookmarked it…and could never find it again. I’ve been actively searching for it since my last post that had to do with giving. No luck…I couldn’t find it. That is, until I found that thread in the PI forum, and YOUR profile. I couldn’t believe it when I saw it…. There it was!

My Favorite Quote – FOUND!

I hope you don’t mind, but I am going to re-post it here –

“You cannot give to anybody in this world what you do not have. And therefore you must concentrate on getting. You must become the most beautiful, sensitive, wondrous, magical, unique, fantastic person in the world to be able to have all of these things in order to give them away and share them. Think about it. If I don’t have wisdom I can only teach you my ignorance. If I don’t have joy I can only teach you despair. If I don’t have freedom I can only put you in cages. But everything that I have I can give away. That’s the only reason for having it. But I’ve got to have it first. And so I dedicate myself to becoming the best ME the world has ever known. “

-Leo Buscaglia

Isn’t that quote THE BEST??? I could do a whole series of posts around that one quote!

“…But everything I have I can give away. THAT’S THE ONLY REASON FOR HAVING IT…”

Please check out Pat in KC’s Powerful Intentions profile… she is an amazing woman!

Now, A Very Special Introduction

I have a sister… she lives in my soul. Ok, maybe that is a bit deep for all of you, but it is so true. Kellie is the most amazing, talented, intelligent woman I have ever met. She is multi-lingual, an accomplished teacher, a published author, a world traveler, a totally cool mom, and an irreplaceable friend to me.

Recently, I’ve been helping her learn how to Squidoo (like she doesn’t have enough to do already, right?) She’s made a wonderful lens introducing herself to the Squidoo community and I would like y’all to meet her, too. Please take a moment and meet Kellie Carman-Davis. Enjoy her incredible writing (the “Pick Your Seat” story is hysterical!), check out her published work, and say hello. I would appreciate it greatly!

Also, a hat tip to Margaret for also pointing me in the direction of another great lens on Squidoo. This lens is by Janet and is a transparent over-view of her work and income earned while working with Squidoo as a Stay at Home Mom. It is refreshing to see such honesty and is also very encouraging for those that are new to Squidoo.
