Day 5

Shortcuts

Welcome back to my series called Under The Radar.  We've been talking about making money online in an "under the radar" way.

If you missed the first days of this series, you can read them here:

Today, the topic is....

SHORTCUTS

People tend to think that shortcuts are a negative thing....like those that take shortcuts are somehow cheating or something.

So, let me ask you something....

If you wanted to know about, ummmmm, say about how to install a kitchen sink, ok?

You could go searching around the internet looking for answers....taking down little notes and bits of info you find  and then piecing it all together on your own...

Or...

You could just buy a guide that walks you thru the whole thing.

Which is the better use of your time?

What if you wanted a house?

You could build it yourself, right?  Or you could buy it already built.

Both of those are examples of taking shortcuts to the end result you want to achieve.

In Day 3, we talked about the 20 steps we take to create a snowball, which eventually turns into an asset for us.

There is a lot of work that goes in to these niche sites on the front side.  A lot of it is tedious and not that exciting.

Trust me, this is the voice of experience here.  I've created TONS of websites from scratch on my own.

Is It Hard work?

No - it's just work.  Tedious repetitive actions that I can now do in my sleep (and a few times I think I HAVE done them in my sleep...lol!)

The hardest part was learning how to do it.

That's the thing about shortcuts...

I guess it's human nature for us to all get so strongly attracted to the "shiny things" online that promise us shortcuts and an "easier" way.

But, what if you don't know WHAT process you are trying to shortcut?  What's the point of buying a shortcut if you don't really understand how it all works or what the goal is - OR have an understanding of whether this process or program really will save you TIME?

As I said previously, Time is the most valuable asset we have.

When I set out to learn how to create small niche sites, I learned from two very important resources.  Both are from marketers I think the world of.

One resource is free.... the other costs $1 - and BOTH painted a complete picture of what I was trying to achieve.

These two products were a HUGE shortcut to my learning process.

The first one is a simple guide that details the way to start a network of small niche sites that you own....and how to get them to make $5 a day within a week.  It's solid info from a marketer that DOES this.  He doesn't just talk about it - he DOES it.

You can read that guide here.

The second one is not only eBook direction, but he also has videos and a VERY, VERY helpful and active forum.  Having community support from others who are working on the same things you are is awesome!

Right now, you can get all that info AND be a part of that forum for $1 here.

Both of these products can put this whole "Under The Radar" system into a clear and easy-to-follow system.

They are a shortcut to learning the 20 steps so you can get to DOING the 20 steps that much faster and much more effectively.

Other good (and free) resources for learning this process are my 6StepNicheSites.com site and this training center which has AWESOME free training.

Anyway, that's just how *I* learned and the info that got me started working Under The Radar online.

Once you learn what you need to do to make an effective snowball niche site, you'll be ready to learn MORE shortcuts.

We'll talk more about shortcuts later  =)

See ya tomorrow!
