The Heart of it All

by PotPieGirl on October 18, 2010 · 38 comments

Coming up for air…for just a minute

WOW! What an experience it’s been these last few days since Power3Marketing.com opened it’s doors. Have you ever felt as if what you were about to do was the right thing, only to find out just how right it really was? Does that even make sense? The past few days have been a whirlwind of long hours and very little sleep – it’s possible I am mumbling incoherently…lol! ANYWAY, can I share some things that have been happening?

What Really Matters

Yes, we are all here online to make money of some sort. And yes, money is cool. But for me, that is not what’s at the heart of it all. Money is a pleasant by-product….but the real heart and soul of it all is what touches MY heart and soul. I can’t recall a time that money touched my heart.

Wait, yes I can. One time, back in my struggling single mom days, a member of the golf course where I worked insisted on giving me a few bucks to help with my kids Christmas.

That money touched my heart – but it could have been a quarter. It was the heart BEHIND the money that moved me.

Ok, I’m rambling again – I’m sorry! (I did mention I’ve had very little sleep, right?)

David and I knew that Power3Marketing was needed – we knew that. We saw the stats… we both work with folks on a daily basis and have for years. We knew it was time for an alternative to affiliate marketing for those that needed it.

And we were right. In fact, we were TOO right. We really underestimated just how MANY people would find help and hope inside the walls of Power3.

Things are going NUTS over there!

David and I -and the whole P3Staff – were worn out before we even opened the doors. Now, I am running on little naps and lots of Dr Pepper…lol!

And it’s AWESOME!

Sure, we’ll all probably take a big deep breath after the doors to Power3Marketing close tomorrow night…but right now, we are still chugging along happily on pure adrenaline.

Let me tell you why I think this is all so awesome -

THIS Is the Heart Of It All

This is the kind of feedback we are all getting – and they keep on coming. It is so fantastic!

And that is just a tiny sample of what is in MY inbox. (yes, I had to blur some stuff out – I can’t go around giving out members success secrets, now can I?)

Isn’t that amazing?!?!?!

No matter WHAT accomplishments or success I have had online – NOTHING compares to this.

Providing a very doable solution to a really big problem is absolutely the BEST feeling ever.

I’ve got so much free training out there – The DAM Way and Under The Radar and 6StepNicheSites and everything right here at PotPieGirl.com… plus my not-free stuff like One Week Marketing and PotPieGirl’s Niche Site Guide – all good stuff that really does help people.

But there was a missing link.

David and I found what was missing, created it, and it is now known as Power3Marketing.com.

And let me tell you this – it feels Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeatttttttttt! (thank you, Tony the Tiger for giving me the only thing that really fits how I feel right now)

Folks are taking this training and running with it – we are already getting success stories!

It’s a shame we need to close the doors for awhile, but we really need to.

Behind the Scenes at Power3Marketing

There’s is a lot going on behind the scenes over at Power3Marketing.

We’ve got membership software which doesn’t always want to behave as it was trained to so we beat it into submission…. we’ve got video hosting stuff….and support forms….and oh my, so much. And don’t even get me started on the bandwidth we are gobbling up by the minute. I’ve already upgraded it 3 or 4 times… and I’ll keep bumping it up for as long as it’s needed.

It’s been all hands on deck for the entire P3Staff during this initial Grand Opening Week where we are accepting Charter Elite Members.

Thankfully, the Charter Elite members are kind and forgiving when we hit an occasional bump along the way. Where there is a computer, there will be glitches and hitches. It happens.

It’s been a ride – WAY different than selling a pdf guide, that’s for sure. Quite a learning experience that will make me better from this moment forward.

Oh, let me tell you this – I did videos for Power3Marketing.

Someday, I should show the “bloopers” from those video takes….lol!

In one video, I am almost done – just a few seconds left – when out of no where, my CAT ends up in my lap with her face right in the camera! I’m not sure which was funnier – her big ol’ cat face taking up the entire camera view… or my reaction!

The whole experience so far has been priceless – and we’re just getting started – there is so much more to come for our Charter P3Elite members. It’s very exciting!

Anyway – that’s all the break I get…. must get back to work now.

Just wanted to stop in…. ramble and babble about how awesome things are going…and say hello.

Sooner or later, things will calm down …. I think ;)

Oh, and yes –

Power3Marketing is shutting down the P3Elite membership option after tomorrow (Tuesday, Oct 19th).

So if you want in as a Charter P3Elite member at that rate, you best hurry.

The invitation to become a P3Elite member is on this page (down in the red box).

Hi. I joined the P3Marketing and as usual was very impressed with the information available even at the free membership level.

I am starting a no-charge campaign this week for my brother-in-law & sister-in-law who own a traditional offline business.

It will be good practice for me, and good advertisement for them. Plus I will gain a testimonial from them out of it when I start soliciting new clients.

Thanks so much for all you do to help struggling newbies.

PotPieGirl October 18, 2010 at 11:24 pm

That is fantastic, Russell – good for you!

I am blown away at how many people are using the P3 training to help friends, family, and their community…. It’s so awesome!

Kelly October 18, 2010 at 11:26 pm

Jennifer – you always deliver with your products. I’m signing up and look forward to learning even more from you.

PotPieGirl October 18, 2010 at 11:30 pm

Thanks, Kelly !!!!

Larry October 18, 2010 at 11:51 pm

Jennifer, I’ve tried affiliate marketing for sooooo long, without making more than $34.95…period! This sounds rather advanced, most seem to be saying they have had success in AM (affiliate Marketing; making web sites, keyword research, etc. etc. I guess bottom line is I suck at those things… :-( Can a guy like ME find success in P3? I Understand there is Work involved…That’s a Given….I’m not into Personally visiting people and Selling at all however…

PotPieGirl October 19, 2010 at 12:04 am

Hey Larry =)

While you CAN go the whole “go see them and sell to them” route – you don’t have to.

Also P3 is much easier than affiliate marketing. Just the keyword research part of it is much easier….less writing….etc etc.

Take a look thru the P3Basic training (free) and see what you think.

Linda October 19, 2010 at 12:12 am

Hi Jennifer

Just wanted to let you know that its a relief to find someone like you and David. I’ve studied everything that you’ve offered for free and also many of your paid training. All of them have been great – love the down to earth and lets get to business attitude!

When I got your email about P3, I immediately went to the site and joined. Then I went thru all the basic training. Wow, was I impressed! It sounded perfect and something that really appealed to me.

I’ve been thinking of canceling another subscription (not yours) that I felt was draining me physically and mentally. Wasn’t having fun anymore and sure wasn’t making any money for my efforts…

Now I’m rambling, but I wanted you to know that I knew P3 was right for me, so, even though I haven’t canceled my other subscription (will soon, just need a little time to tie some things up), I went ahead and joined your P3 Elite membership. I knew it meant a lot more hours for me to finish up the other thing while trying to do the P3 training, but I sure don’t regret it. I’m almost thru the Gold training and I am just so amazed excited.

Thank you and David for this wonderful opportunity! I can’t wait to try it on a couple of friends’ businesses. Of course, I’m going to do theirs for free for the experience and to build my confidence!

Thank you so much!!

Eric October 19, 2010 at 12:30 am

I purchased the Elite membership today. After making the payment: nothing happened. No email login information. No instructions. Nothing. No access to Gold and/or Elite section of the Web site. 2 emails later still nothing. I’m wondering where that “staff” is that is supposed to handle customer service issues.

Will this be another disappointment?

Larry October 19, 2010 at 12:36 am

I Just posted a comment/question and received an answer very quickly from Jennifer, and Based on that reply from Jennifer I joined the Basic membership….so far I am Locked Out….times-a-waistin’….Jen…..

PotPieGirl October 19, 2010 at 12:42 am

Linda – THANK YOU! We’re glad to have you!

Eric & Larry – Hang tight please. Our main girl that handles the email “traffic control” is a young woman that has worked for me for years.

She lives in the Philippines and as I’m sure you know from the news, they got hit by a devastating typhoon during the night.

I’m VERY worried about her. We are getting in there and handling things now. We’ll get to everyone just as soon as humanly possible.

And no, this is not normal – we’re working hard to make it right as we “speak”.

Thank you.

Larry October 19, 2010 at 12:48 am

These folks are Grrrrrrreeeeeeeeat!

PotPieGirl October 19, 2010 at 12:48 am

Eric (rick) – you are showing as an active Elite. Go ahead and log in with your user name and password… you should be good to go.

Larry – you are good to go, also. Go ahead and log in with the username and password you created.

Thank you for your patience!

Eric October 19, 2010 at 1:26 am

Still doesn’t work. I can log in only in the Basic membership like before, but can’t access Gold or Elite.
I tried different browsers, clearing cookies etc. but that didn’t make a difference.

PotPieGirl October 19, 2010 at 1:47 am

Ah…. figured it out. You signed up with a different first name than you are using here.

NOW, I got you all straightened out. =)

Mary Janis October 19, 2010 at 1:50 am

David & Jennifer,
When I saw your video I knew this was what I had been looking for. I jumped right into Elite membership with both feet.
A few kinks later – all new ventures have kinks- all was fixed and I’ve finished debriefing the Gold training,
In these days and in this economy, I feel like the two of you have just handed us the building blocks to fix this economy and help small business like they have never been helped before.
Once upon a time I volunteered a year of my life to learn how to help low income folks successfully start a small business. Now you have given me the keys to make sure they succeed.
What else can I say except I love the bunches out of both of you!!

Randy Brickhouse Sr. October 19, 2010 at 2:20 am

Hey PotPieGirl!

Thanks for sending me an invitation to join the group. My only thing with it is, why did you take so long to send me the invitation? You got me right at the time that you sent another email saying you are going to close the elite program. Well, I won’t have the funds to upgrade for another two weeks, so I’m going to go gold then, and wait on elite to return.

Thanks and God bless.

PotPieGirl October 19, 2010 at 3:51 am

awwww… Mary Janis – thank you!!!! Sounds like P3 is a perfect fit for you… that is wonderful!

Hi Randy – I’m so sorry! I’m sure there will be others come by here who say I’ve been telling them too MUCH….lol!

Susan October 19, 2010 at 3:58 am

Hi Jen,
Once I got into the site for the elite membership, my first thought was OMG there’s so much info and videos. It was a bit overwhelming.

I’m about halfway through the gold videos. I have to say this, I’m one of those people that are always going after the shiny stuff and have paid lots and lots of $$ over the last 4 years, but I’ve never been really able to follow through. I manage to make a little bit of adsense, but no affiliate sales.

You and Dave have made this fairly simple and easy to understand and I believe finally doable.

I’m looking forward to watching the rest of the videos and then taking action.

Lawra October 19, 2010 at 4:21 am

Hi Jennifer & Dave,

Thanks heaps for creating the Power3Marketing training, this is just what I needed. I have followed your progress online and have always been impressed by your down to earth approach to Internet Marketing. I had no hesitation in signing up for the Elite membership as I know from the past your always over-deliver. Kudos to you both for identifying this training niche and for minimising that ‘cold sell’ to customers approach. I am looking forward to finishing the training soon and cannot wait get started on my local business promotions.

Tom@ Dragon Chess Set October 19, 2010 at 6:21 am

For me Money = Freedom. Freedom from the worry of the next bill, Freedom to Travel, Freedom to share life with others.

Thanks for all the free info you provide.

Robert @ Learn The Violin October 19, 2010 at 12:23 pm

Well, I am going to sign up for membership, I have been trying to make enough money online to quit my job for a few years but only make around $200. a month internet marketing.

Tom October 19, 2010 at 1:38 pm

Dear Jennifer,

I realize that you have to make money and that you do try to focus on helping people. This is one of the reasons that I follow you online…you seem sincere about helping others.

That being said in this economy it is still difficult for some of us to afford to purchase upgrades that will potentially afford us the opportunity to provide for our loved ones.

Personally I have been downsized two times in the financial sector, have lost all of my real estate investments and was forced to file for bankruptcy. I now find myself at 45 years of age back in college full time (with financial help) and working part time for wages that I received when I was working in the 1980′s.

I went from my best year of $104000 to now making less than $12,000 and relying on food stamps to eat. It is difficult hear in MI where the unemployment rate in my area hovers around 14% and there are no jobs for mid life people.

I am not asking for a handout however I do feel that you might be a bit disconnected from the very people that need the training that you are offering at a price point that is unattainable for them.

I have had very limited success with affiliate marketing in the past but have made a bit of money and with further training in your P3 system I think I would be able to make a go of it.

Maybe I could afford the P3Tin (ha, ha) course upgrade instead of the Gold or Elite……

Just thought you should know…

Dental Cincinnati October 19, 2010 at 3:22 pm

Hey Jenn,

You know I have been following you for over a year now and love what you do and what you do for us! THANK YOU!!!!

That being said, I am already in a membership site that focuses on the same idea, I wish you would have come out first but I am going to give this other system a try before I try yours :(

Please keep it up I love your content and always open your emails!

Etienne October 19, 2010 at 3:43 pm

Hi Jennifer

Thank you for an awesome site. I guess I’m a newbie in this as I’m only scratching and perusing for the last year and a half. Althouh I have learned a substantial amount from everyone else as well this is the first site that you do not feel like you trying to grab the pie in the sky. I really enjoy it. Your blogs is refreshing to read and full of good advise. Thanx a mill.

Shawn October 19, 2010 at 5:23 pm

I completed the basic training and can’t wait to start. My Dad is starting a consulting business and he is going to be my first customer. I have yet to quit my full time job to become a full time marketer. But this program gives me great hope.

Jennifer & Dave Thanks For An Awsome Program

Jim October 19, 2010 at 9:05 pm

Hi Jennifer,
I have purchased almost all of your courses. I love them all. I am a basic member now, but plan on advancing to the gold membership level as I can afford it. I am going to use my training from the free basic level to help a friend with his business first.Hopefully they will be as blown away by this as I am. If nothing else, I will gain some valuable experience.
I am a born salesman and have no problem talking face to face with potential customers. The plan is to use my training here to get a few established clients and upgrade to the elite membership when you open the doors again. Please don’t make us wait too long.

Randy Brickhouse Sr. October 20, 2010 at 2:06 am

Hey Jennifer,

I’m with Jim, who stated that he was helping to promote his friend’s business. I asked my friend if I could use his business to implement the techniques and learn how to do Power3Marketing and of course he said, “go for it!”

Thanks and God bless.

Malcolm Rutledge October 20, 2010 at 7:40 pm

I dont know if you are still having the major support issues that have been happening generally, but I have had no joy in accessing the training at all.
I have the CB receipt, but when I click on the access link, I get an error page..
I purchased P3 elite last night, still nothing 24 hrs later; not wanting to complain at all, just letting you know as I have nowhere else to contact you (that I can find!)
Thanks for your help

Jennifer B October 22, 2010 at 10:59 am

Hi Jennifer,

I purchased your One Week Marketing Plan about two weeks ago, and I plan on focusing on that before doing other things like the P3 marketing (even though it looks really good). I need to focus on just one thing, and I’m too much of a newbie anyway. I know you’re really busy with the P3 training, but I was wondering if there will still be support for OWM? Will we still get blog posts and emails about it? Thanks so much, I’m really glad I found your site!

John October 23, 2010 at 5:48 am

Thanks jennifer for this great program. I am on my way to become a real internet marketer.

Mikael Rieck October 25, 2010 at 7:55 am

It must be an incredible feeling to be able to help so many people while still making money from it. I know that the feeling is probably worth much more than the money but the combination is the better of both worlds.

Congrats on a job well done, Jen.

Jason October 27, 2010 at 4:30 pm

Excellent Pot Pie Gurl!

Thank you for alllllllll you doooooo!!!!!

Gary November 3, 2010 at 6:06 pm

Wow, I’m famous!! This program is wonderful. I can’t tell you how awesome it is to get checks for the work I do. Thanks Jen.

Anna November 4, 2010 at 6:45 am

Hi Jennifer,

I’ve been a follower for a long time thank you! I have a question if you have the time to answer – I’m looking for help in building ecommerce sites – will any of your courses show me how to set one up? Obviously we want one that looks good… I’d like to build both affiliate and physical goods selling sites.

So just to clarify – I need lessons on the actual building of the sites.

I hope that makes sense! I’d love a reply please please! Thank you thank you ;p

Jordan November 5, 2010 at 3:16 pm

Well Power3Marketing is cool but I beg to differ with you, money motivates hence money is cool any day anytime I like money like nothing else so how dare you say that money does not touch your heart then why are you doing this?

Jaison Williams November 9, 2010 at 4:20 pm

Hi Jennifer,

I found myself really fortunate that I landed upon your site today, seems you have been making a good fortune from internet marketing. Hope to learn something from you. Going to sign up for your membership.

Portland Garage Door November 10, 2010 at 8:25 pm

For me, it’s all about making the largest amount of money out of the smallest investment, of time, money, space, etc. So i have more time to get out there and spend it! Thanks so much for this article!

Jackie November 12, 2010 at 1:21 am

Wow those are some very inspiring testimonials for power3! Congrats on the successful course Jennifer! Will head over to take a look to see if it fits into something I may be good at!
